Midlife and later adulthood bring significant life transitions that can reshape how you see yourself, your relationships, and your future. As children become more independent, careers evolve, retirement approaches, parents require more care, health concerns emerge, or grief and loss become part of daily life, it's common to feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected. You may find yourself questioning long-standing patterns, struggling in your relationships, or wondering how to create a more meaningful next chapter. While these experiences are common, you don't have to navigate them alone.

I specialize in therapy for adults and couples in midlife and later adulthood who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, caregiver stress, retirement, grief, changing family roles, health concerns, and questions of identity and purpose. Whether you're feeling stuck, experiencing relationship difficulties, or simply sensing it's time for something to change, therapy offers a supportive space to gain insight, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with greater clarity.

For couples, I help partners navigate the transitions that often place new strain on long-term relationships, including retirement, empty nest adjustments, caregiving responsibilities, chronic illness, intimacy concerns, grief, and shifting identities. Together, you'll strengthen communication, better understand recurring patterns of conflict, and build a relationship that feels more connected, secure, and resilient.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in person-centered, attachment-based, psychodynamic, and experiential therapies. I help clients understand how earlier life experiences continue to influence present-day emotions, relationships, and behaviors while developing greater awareness and new ways of responding. Therapy isn't simply about understanding why you're struggling—it's about creating meaningful, lasting change.

I believe healing happens when you feel deeply seen, understood without judgment, and supported as you grow. If you're looking for compassionate therapy for midlife or later adulthood—whether as an individual or as a couple—I would be honored to help you navigate this stage of life with greater clarity, connection, and confidence.
