Anne is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Colorado. She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Stephen F. Austin, and her Masters degree in Counseling from University of North Texas. Anne was late coming to the field of counseling, but still has 15 + years of experience.

Her previous experiences in life are all in a way related to connection and support of others through past jobs in customer service, Human Resources, and as a Witness Care Officer for a Police Department in the West Midlands, England. It was not until 4 years after having her daughter, that she recognized her passion for counseling, and began graduate school.

Due to the nature and environment of her upbringing being raised in foreign countries as a TCK (Third Culture Kid), she has a passion for working with those that feel they do not fit in, and feel unique in their feelings and perspectives. This has led her in part to focus on populations in which mental health is still highly stigmatized, and people are cautious to speak up if they are struggling.

Anne utilizes a client focused approach to working with clients, with an understanding of how differently each client is. A large part of her work is incorporated in using cognitive approaches to therapy such as CBT, and CPT for trauma. When working with her, she will work to understand the ways that you connect to yourself, others, and the world, in a more mindful manner. This connection could be through logical use of checklists, flow charts, and worksheets, or through music, and art.

Anne specializes in working with aviation personnel (pilots and flight attendants), first responders, veterans, active military personnel, and frontline medical personnel, with each person being met in their current struggle.
